Great post. I've also heard about the geranium and not tested it yet. But our dogs have started grooming each other - taking off the ticks the other picks up. It was such a relief because the ticks were really worrying me (it's worst when they get into the house). I guess they might have learned it from a friend's dog who came to stay for a couple of weeks......whatever, it made my day!
