Well, he didn't know who this girl was when he saved her, only when she showed up again and took him home did he learn all this.
You could, but if you're going to watch this expecting to find a "kindness doesn't pay"-story, this is not the right show for you.
I am more interested in watching a psychopath kid with a pair of scissors... there must be something wrong with the one who came up with this idea as well
Anime is notorious for coming up with the most otherworldly, horrible characters and plotlines. Like I said earlier, finding a gem can be a chore.
