Blind Man And Guide Dog Left ‘Humiliated’ After Restaurant Refuse To Serve Them

I've waited tables for years and I've served people with service dogs...one couple in particular who were both blind and rode the bus out to have dinner...when they were ready to leave I helped the gentleman to the door because it was busy...he had a walking stick...I went back to help Karen and she was already on her way with her service dog that was under the table the whole time and I didn't even know...so there's nothing wrong with having service dogs in a restaurant...we have also had service dogs in training that were well behaved!!❤️

Surely he should be taking legal action against the restaurant. They broke the law. Call them out on it and have them fined...... Put the fine money back into guide dog training and awareness.

The time and expense really wouldn't be worth it, especially against a chain that immediately admitted their staff made an error, apologised and offered reparations.

Legit, this hurts my heart. No one should be treated differently because of an impairment. Don’t use the dog as an excuse to refuse entry, he’s there to do a job, his job, to keep his human safe. Not run around the restaurant, annoying other guests and stealing pizza.

This restaurant should be ashamed. Absolute discrmination. A free meal voucher? An insult if you ask me. And the apology was too late. I would say it was only because it was all over the net, for all to know..... It shouldn't of happened, to this poor gentleman and he's dogs to begin with ..... Just terrible.
