How To Have Fun With Your Pups Without Breaking The Bank!

It's no secret that these days some dogs live more of a lavish lifestyle than humans. But, what if you're not a Instagram famous pup owner? Have no fear, you and your dog can still have a great time by following these tips and purchasing these cheap thrills.

One thing that is a must: ditch those pricey pet stores when you're hunting for toys for your furbaby. I've seen stores charge five to six dollars for a toy that won't even last a week. The best place to buy pet toys is at the Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar, if you have one nearby, don't be afraid to go pop some tags on some squeaky toys. They also carry harnesses, leashes and water/food bowls as well.

Another new trend is sending your dog off to a pet spa for a day to swim, play and get pampered. Some of these pup resorts can be expensive and if you don't have a lot of cash, it could be a no go, but why not bring the spa to your backyard? In this summer heat, dogs love to get cool. By purchasing a kiddie pool (these can cost anywhere from 5-25 dollars depending on where you purchase it and the quality of the pool) and filling it up with water and adding a few toys, wala! You have an at home puppy spa!

Don't forget the OG free fun activity for dogs and owners, the park! Many towns and cities have a lot of parks that have walking trails that are 100% dog friendly. Take your dog, some water and a few toys and you're guaranteed to have hours of fun!
