Pancake, the cockerspaniel shih-tzu!

This is Pancake, who has just celebrated his third birthday this year!

I'll be posting about him here periodically, this post mainly contains images of Pancake throughout the years since we first got him in 2015 and like many dogs, he has adjusted his behavior drastically since coming into our home. He's very kind, loving, protective, hyperactive but most of all, hungry for food. He's a persistent beggar when it comes to food, whether he thinks we have any or not. Any rustling or wrinkling of a bag is enough to get his tail wagging and his mouth watering! He's also very fluffy, thus making him very huggable.

These were some of the first photos we got of Pancake, he was adopted from another family who could not care for him, unfortunately. He was only 8 months old at the time, and very docile. Slowly but surely though, he opened up (quite literally, how else would he beg for food?) and soon came to love us as much as we loved him. His love and constant hyperactivity have not exhausted since, and he's always been spoiled by our family for as long as we can remember, despite the struggle of having to care for a very hyperactive, untrained puppy, but that seems to be how it is for every puppy.

No this isn't Falkor, but he's still a very lucky dog.

Another early puppy photo. I should also explain how I came up with his name. If you've got an eye for details, you'll notice his huge floppy ears. They're not too overwhelmingly huge, but the name Pancake stuck for that reason and because it felt really cute.

This is a photo of Pancake in the car with me while we're at a McDonald's drive thru, eagerly anticipating my order.
