Slab City - Living Without Laws (DOCUMENTARY)

Many of you have probably heard of Slab City, it's one of the last truly free places in the USA, or at least as close as it gets to being a truly free place.

Among Youtubing Vandwellers and Vagabonds it's a destination many show off in Youtube videos. Slab City is an old Army base that has since transformed into it's own little community. Anyone who desires to live there can go there, stake out a piece of un-utilized land and set-up camp.

The community has it's own mayor, it's own social events and it's own culture and community. It's really a fascinating place and shows that people can live side by side together without necessarily needing a traditional government structure.

While I don't know I would want to live there permanently it would probably be a very cool experience to have for a couple weeks.
