Yesterday, Steem Witness Jerry Banfield revealed some extremely intimate details about his sex life to the Steem community and here is my reaction to it. Also, I talk about Dlive and how I am excited for Hive 1.5 and Steem communities!

I always appreciate your perspective. I think Jerry tried to break down a wall and attempted to kill some taboo's (likely executed poorly - I didn't give that video much of a chance). I always hate to see the pitchforks and the flaming torches of mob mentality. I wrote an article defending you when you were being crucified by the "community" and I will likely write one about Jerry too. I don't think he made a good move... but a mistake is a mistake and a second chance is something I hope I get if I need one (again).
I also really appreciate Steem being a good place "for refugees". That couldn't have been said better.
Anyway. Keep making your content and good things should follow.

Absolutely. I think it was a bad move. Like you said, he could have told us something else... like about the time he tortured a house-fly when he was 6, that is a 'safer' dirty secret.
It is sad to see 700 sbd going to bots instead of real users, so he can do this..... No wounder he got booted from other communities, he just pisses of (on) steem :( Not cool for witnesses to conduct their businesses like this o´d say..

That was way, way beyond weird and shock funny hopefully its not some sort of breakdown. Its like i just seen a dog meow or a cat bark. I never thought you could be too honest but i dunno now.
It was a lil disturbing, but I think that video was the result of bullying here. It was bizzare, and I felt a lil sorry for him. People saw it as an opportunity to double down on the bullying. I noticed that some of the people who come at you come at him. Most of these assholes wouldnt bust a grape irl. lol smh
Not sure how I feel about this one. But witnesses definitely need to have a professional stance; again, not to throw stones at glass houses, for I can be quite a goofball when I want to be, and have no problem showing that side of me in my writing, yet I know where enought is enough. I have to agree that this one took it a bit too far.
