Golden Nose - under this pseudonym, 29-year-old Marcin Chrapek is hiding. He comes from Poland, he lives in a small town - Szczytna. From an early age, music has been his great passion. However, the real adventure begins a bit later when; after gaining access to a computer, he began to listen to Internet radio stations passionately. Then in his head a dream about the possibility of playing in the radio station began to be born. It's nothing hard, but ... Golden Nose was born with cerebral palsy. The form of his illness is quadriplegia, which in the case of a man means a lot of difficulties in moving, handling anything, or even talking. This situation prevented him from doing many ordinary things, but it didn't stop him from using the computer. After many attempts, it turned out that it was convenient for him to operate the keyboard keys on the keyboard. With its help and using a special keyboard, he began to move freely in the multimedia world. He began his career as a radio presenter in 2003. One day, when he was "surfing" some radio chats, a guy wrote to him asking if he would like to play on his radio - Golden agreed without hesitation. He played there for four years, with Virtual DJ, very commercial type of Hands up and similar genres.
In 2007, convinced by a friend, he sent a sample to radioftb.net, to Trance channel, where he managed to get. Dreams began to take on more and more bright colors ... Larger radio, more ambitious music, more and more often led to the desire to reach for more. After Hands up and playing commercial music, such a change and new perspectives aroused new hopes and new ideas. After a six-month palying on radioftb, he dared to send a sample to radioparty.pl for the house channel. He chose this station because it did not require a microphone and as you know, the radio was the largest radio in the Polish intrenet. Something happened that he did not expect. His application received a very positive response, which gave him the opportunity to test his strength on two house and trance channels. Since that time he started playing with DJ Traktor. In 2010, Martin ended cooperation with the radio party and played in small and large stations. During the following years successive dreams were born successively. The biggest possibility was to play live - with the participation of the audience. What was supposed to be a utopia was also found in reality. In August 2013, he played at the Audiolake club music festival in Radków, on the stage for young talents. It was an hour full of really strong impressions. A year later, the organizers invited him to come back to this festival again, but this time he had the pleasure of playing on the main stage, where Mauro Picotto also played later. After this festival Golden Nose decided to buy a controller, the AKAI APCmini, because all the controllers have knobs in the eq section, and Golden did not have to spin them, and AKAI had as many as 9 faders that could be mapped in the program. And since then, Golden Nose has developed his technical skills to such an extent that he bought a second controller to mix even better and more effective. In 2017, Golden played at two festivals and since then people began to notice him more - he got suggestions for playing on foreign radios in which he plays up the present day. Currently, Golden Nose has changed his setup, thanks to his friends who have collected the necessary money and he is now playing on machine jam and mixtrack pro. In May this year he played for his first time at the Skylab Club in Jelenia Góra, after which Golden Nose got wings and wants to play in the clubs on and on.
