What is the proposal? That government takes away the guns from her law abiding parents so that only criminals can have them?
What about if that same government decides to start killing people by the millions in concentration camps like it has happened many times already in human history? Who's going to defend this little girl?
I do not have the answer. I think she's talking about gangsters and such shooting up everything. Not about banning guns.
The problem isn't so much the legal gun owners, it's stolen guns. Stop guns from being stolen and we stop most gun crimes.
Buy back programs could help I think. We need to get them off the street, it's far to easy to buy an illegal gun for 20 bucks.
