Playing Music in Children's Hospitals for "A Sound Life" Charity

One of the most profound ways I have had the chance to share my music is working with the charity "A Sound Life" in Australia, who aim to bring music and yoga to those in need.

I have been honored to be an ambassador for this beautiful initiative, started by my friend Edo Kahn, and am always happy to take part in these hospital visits.

For the video for "Two Questions" from my album 'Freedom, Love & the Recuperation of the Human Mind", I wanted to celebrate the work of "A Sound Life".

This song itself is about grounding ourselves in a spiritual connection, at every moment of the day. While the word "God" alienates some people because of their bad experiences with organized religion, I find it useful to describe the highest and most creative part of our own minds and hearts. As Joseph Campbell once said "God is a metaphor for that which transcends all levels of intellectual thought. It's as simple as that."

Very nice !

Great post and great job you did! You are a very good and positive person! God bless you!

Wow, what an amazing project! I believe music should play a much bigger role in all kinds of healing processes than it has been so far - I've just recently learned about a project (and seen how it works) in which music is played to elderly people with Alzheimer's, specifically music they listened to when they were young - and just for these moments they remember all the lyrics and sing along and dance and dive into all emotions they've always connected to these songs, it's just wonderful.

You are doing great, I would love spiritual songs, Its cool...

This is a great way to extend your music to ease the painful experience of the young patient. Charity does not always have to be financial but the mental support is also really essential. I have just started following you and have upvoted. I will await your next article! Thanks for sharing such meaningful contribution to steemit members!
