Cavaliers' J.R. Smith to be waived if not traded by Monday, per report - CBSSports.com

The Cleveland Caveliers are moving on from J.R. Smith. Acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks in 2014, he served as the teams shooting guard. His talent was instrumental in helping the Cavs come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA title.

After Lebron James opted to leave for Los Angeles, the team was in a full rebuild. Smith will be waived unless the team can find a trade partner which seems unlikely.
