Love it!! that was always my least favorite part of making crocheted scarves... forever cutting, fishing it through the space and knotting it off... lol... Have you figured out how to do it with a knitting scarf???
I have seen a knitted variation where you cast on stitches at the end of a row, then turn and bind off the stitches you just cast on to create fringe. Might try that next time.
