A fully electric aircraft has just made its first commercial flight - MIT Technology Review

OK, it was only a 15 minutes, 6 passengers flight. But still.

The company behind the test, the world’s largest seaplane airline, wants to electrify its entire fleet by 2022. As of now, the aircraft can  fly for about 100 miles.

Saying goodbye to kerosene, one plane at a time.
