Elon Musk is our modern day real life Tony Stark. That is why I and many others I imagine, call him Elon "Iron Man" Musk. In the Marvel Universe, Stark "is an eccentric self-described genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist and the former head of Stark Industries." In our world, Musk is strikingly similar to Tony Stark in many regards, although we haven't seen Elon in an iron suit, at least not yet.

Like Tony, Elon has multiple businesses and industries at his beck and call. Within his businesses, he has many scientists and engineers under employment, giving Elon access to some of the best and brightest minds on planet Earth. Being the "eccentric genius" that he is, Elon and his crew are always taking on new challenges and adventures which also generally benefit humanity in one way or another.

A little over a year ago, Elon started up his latest endeavor called the Boring Company. Although the word "boring" is in the name of the company, it anything but that. The Boring Company's goal is to make tunneling underground extremely cheap. This tunneling can then be used to alleviate traffic congestion in major cities, and even lead to technological advances in transportation such as the much vaunted Hyperloop.

In order to fund his most recent and "Boring" project, Elon has decided to let all of us have a little fun too. He recently came up with the idea of selling a retail, for the home and Not Military, version of a flamethrower. The proceeds from the sale of this fun project will go towards funding the Boring Company and its projects. Unfortunately, this fun would not be cheap, costing around $500 US Dollars, and would not last. The "Not a flamethrower" Flamethrower by the Boring Company sold out fast with no future sales pending either.

Along comes Matt Burns of Tech Crunch to the rescue. In his latest article and video, Burns shows the common "joe" how to make one of these "Boring- Not a Flamethrower" flamethrower for less than half of what the Boring Company's sold out Flamethrower costs. Now it is not "rocket science" to make one of these, but you do have to have some mechanical skills and manual dexterity to make this happen.

Read the article, watch the video, and Enjoy!

Remember though, Always safety first, and get a Fire Extinguisher......Good luck!

Thanks Matt Burns and friends!!

Yeah you can replicate one but getting one from the Boring Co. by Elon is epic. Imagine having something from Einstein. Puls they're numbered and he's throwing in the fire extinguisher for free.

Wow, a free fire extinguisher! I did not know that @kouba01 Thanks for the info. Lucky for those who ordered one from the Boring Co.

Oh yeah, say these flamethrowers a great demand and despite a solid price tag of $ 500, almost all of them scattered in just a couple of days like hot cakes. Thank you @streetstyle
