Mean Well Power supplies - Unboxing - 24V and 36V

Two out of the four power supplies for my Laser cutter build arrived today

Mean Well power supplied are considered on the high end of chinese power supplies so I was keen to see what these looked like..

Here is how they came in the mail

Inside the bag was a tonne of foam padding

Here are the two boxes with the power supplies in them.. they seem thinner than what I was expecting

Here is the 24V psu. It is shrink wrapped. I am guessing its so that water damage doesnt occur during shipping

A close up shows this PSU can do 24V at 14.5A

Yup, this is thinner than other chinese power supplies

Same deal with the 36V psu - shrink wrapped

36V 9.7A is what this can output!
