WASTED NATURAL GAS POWERS MINERSsteemCreated with Sketch.

Wasted Natural Gas Powers Miners. More than 420 billion cubic feet of natural gas are flared annually in the United States, equivalent to tens of millions of homes worth of energy being completely wasted and creating an increasing environmental hazard. Flaring or the release of natural gas can lead to harmful emissions such as NOx, CO and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) plus viewshed impacts from flames and smoke trails, all of which draw increasing levels of concern from the public and industry regulators.

Mining Bonanza offers a solution to flaring for upstream operators without access to the pipeline. Mining Bonanza’s Flare Mitigation Program (FMP) converts otherwise wasted natural gas into electricity to power energy-intensive computing right at the well site. Through this process, operators achieve a beneficial use for natural gas, the remission of costs associated with flaring, and payment for their production as well as dramatic emissions reductions. The object is not free electricity but to reduce the cost of electricity to run cryptos miners from an average of .12-.16 /kWh to .04/kWh. This dramatic 75% or more drop in electricity costs make mining cryptos even in a volatile market considerably more profitable.

Mining Bonanza’s Installations are Scalable and Flexible.

The data centers are both portable and in a modular form designed for the demands of the current shale gas and petroleum industry, and are flexible enough of handling millions of cubic feet of natural gas per day or as little as 25.000 feet of natural gas per day. Each center uses approximately One Megawatt of energy per day consuming about 25,000 cubic feet of natural gas.  The Mining Bonanza installations can handle a wide variety of gas compositions ranging from 900 to 2500 mmbtu/mcf.

Emission Reduction:

Mining Bonanza’s partners provide a profitable use for natural gas as well as emissions reductions and help natural gas operators comply with anti-flaring,anti-waste, and anti-pollution rules and regulations.

The objective of Mining Bonanza is to provide cost-effective electricity for digital mining and cloud computing users while at the same time harnassing an underutilized natural resource and providing additional income opportunities to shale oil and gas operators.
