I changed my will twice. I was a teenage mom and didn't want CPS on my doorstep.
At this moment one of my eldest will be responsible for the youngest. In reality that most likely won't happen since the eldest live abroad. The youngest will and take care of themselves. We discuss what to do. I trained them to be independent, who to call, what to do when. The older they get the easier it will be. Still, once dead there will be things to arrange.
Hopefully, this guide will be helpful to them (I include a war situation).

I think I've never read where you are situated. Best wishes for you and your kids (elder and younger ;-)) - try to stay together. Nobody knows what will be.
Due to c19 we are already separated by Germany and Austria because we can't travel anylonger. Better don't take the risk. Time will tell what will happen in Europe and with those still alive.
Those open EU borders are a hoax so is one EU policy although...
