GREATNESS OF CHARITY

TEXT: I CORINTHIANS 13:13

"And now abideth faith,hope,charity, these three;but the greatest of these is charity"
(I Corinthians 13:13).

Charity has been simply defined as "practical love" or "Love in action." It is the greatest Christian virtue. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son..." (John3:16).This is a wonderful practical love. God demonstrated His love for humanity by giving.

Christians are called to a life of love by giving, caring, and making personal sacrifices in order to help others. This is agape love a sacrificial love demonstrated only by genuinely Christians. It is unconditional, no-strings attached and not for any form of personal benefit to the one demonstrating it.

Determine to show acts of kindness to others from today. The relationship between boys and girls based on the desires of the flesh and which leads to immorality is lust and not of God. If you are involved in that type of relationship, then repent today and ask for God's forgiveness.
