Agriculture and rural development
There is a closed relationship between agriculture and rural development. The people living in rural areas fully depend upon agriculture. As we know that, agriculture is the backbone of rural areas. Agriculture affects rural development and rural development also affect agriculture. If there is development in agriculture then it leads to rural development.
If rural development takes places, it helps agriculture to develop. Agriculture and rural development is both direct and indirect relationship. Agriculture development enables rural people to fulfill the basic needs. It there is lack of agricultural development then the rural development will be backward. The agricultural and rural development can create jobs and livelihoods for small farmers and the landless while producing food and raw materials for the urban economy.
