I come from a family of six children. We're all in our seventies now... one of us didn't make it this far. In a family that large, years can go by when one sibling doesn't talk to the other because of a perceived wrong. But time shows the folly of that. I've no time or inclination to bicker or be angry.
It's very hard right now. I've joined Hive because my friends have gravitated to that platform and I see merit in their point of view. But I see others left behind.
As for the money...heavens, I've no sense of that. Many years ago I took a job as a teacher. Accidentally, I threw my first paycheck in the trash at lunchtime. Fortunately, the guidance counselor figured out what I'd done with my missing check and I fished it out of the garbage pail (that scene is so symbolic it would make a great script).
Thank you for the information about @elkezaksek! I hesitate to donate to anyone I don't know personally...but you do so I will act on your recommendation. I'm warm, and well fed in New York, although the virus is wreaking havoc on our medical services.
