Out of all the PvP experiences in Destiny 2, the one that Bungie has tried the hardest to keep fair and even is Trials of the Nine (formerly Trials of Osiris). As the endgame content for fans of the Crucible, Trials is a chance for players to show off their skill and face a steep challenge. Those that are good enough will earn seven consecutive wins and unlock tons of top tier loot at The Spire.

Unfortunately, a glitch with Trials of the Nine will keep those players from obtaining that loot. It’s unclear how long the issue has been present, but it has come to light that there is a way to earn a loss without actually playing a match in Destiny 2.

Apparently, if either team quits out of the Trials of the Nine match during the team introduction screen both teams will be given a loss on their card. Normally, when an opposing team quits they are given a loss and the other team gets a win. However, leaving during the intro results in a loss for both teams.
