Not sure about the cover of my book

You can spend a lot of time researching, interviewing, and gathering information to write in your book.

But, then you get stuck at choosing 2 apparently simple things:

  1. The TITLE of your book
  2. The Cover of your book

I think i'm confident at my skill of writing good titles, but I suck at design.

Which cover do you think is best?

    Of the two the first one is better.
    If it were me I'd not cover up the image.
    I'd put the text above, below, or beside the image in very easy to read (at a distance) contrasting colors...but not ON the image.

    If it was me.
