Herbs/Plants/Seeds for Depression/Anxiety

in #depression7 years ago (edited)

Recently I have turned towards plant medicine and healing herbs after a really long time of sufferering with sevre depression and extreme anxiety.

After countless prescription meds, "therapy", and slight alcohol addiction i realize that most of us are going to be a bit sad from time to time especially while living in a profoundly sick society.

But I have compiled a list of herbs that really work far better than any happypill can for those of you that are feeling down....

  1. Kratom
This is so mood elevating... and helps with physical pain. It doesn't really get you high so i dont know why tf it has been recently banned. You usually make a tea from this herb.... it really works for anxiety. It can give you healthy clean energy without that gittery feeling that caffeine gives. Does not taste great. My dog may start growing this soon! Yay

  2. Mugwart
Mugwart herb can be smoked or made into a tea. It makes you feel sooo calm and relaxed.. unlike like marijuana it is completely legal ;)
I grow and vaporise this pleasant herb often.

  3. Ringwood
I'm unsure of the legality of this one. I would like to start growing this soon. The herb can be made into a tea. Originally it was used to make absynth.

  4. Intellerlect Tree Seeds
Make you wise and think clearly. Really good for you. Taste horrible. Native tree in india.

  5. Salvia Divinorum
I just ordered seeds! Isn't for everyone. Salvia can be a very strong psychedelic.

  6. Wild Lettuce.
Just mildly soothing. Helps with anxiety
