RE: Depopulation is Not the Answer

in #depopulation8 years ago

Agreed, depopulation is often based on the myth of scarcity, i.e. we dont have enough resources to for all of us to live on this planet.

It is despicable that we would try to blame our ills on those with the fewest resources. Or to try to correct everything we have done wrong up to this point by limiting the very thing that makes us human. Our ability to procreate.

It's obvious to me that this artificial scarcity is being promoted to maintain the status quo of a debt based consumer economy. Everyone knows that it is only a matter of time before our present system breaks.

These depopulation promoters are just trying to get ahead of the curve and slow down the inevitable. They do not want to lose their influence on society before the curtain is pulled back and the pitch forks come out for the institutions and policies that got us here in the 1st place.

I like your explanation of how the global monetary system is connected to this artificial sense of natural resource scarcity. Wonderful insight!

Thank you. I was just speaking to someone at a cocktail party and I shared this concept of artificial scarcity and how it will need to be resolved before humanity to can move on to our next level of evolution. He felt that love was the missing ingredient in our ascendance to a higher level of reasoning. We both agreed to meet again for some bourbon and discussion.
