Tribus is the algorithm I created specifically for Denarius (DNR), Tribus is a combination of some of the NIST5 algorithms, specifically 80 bytes of JH, then Keccak, and then Echo. This prevents ASICs from currently mining Denarius during its PoW phase, which will end in roughly ~2 years.
