demons ghosts and other scary things

So a bit about myself, I'm fascinated by paranormal and disturbing things. I want to know what is the most terrifying paranormal things that have happened to some of you and I will share a couple things that I've come across.

When I was younger probably around 10 we used to live in a house that used to be a chicken farm where an elderly woman had passed away. Now this isn't like the middle of nowhere or anything it was In Southern California San Fernando valley. Anyhow the main house and garage are separated, the garage is in the backyard. We used to keep our dog in the backyard between the two. It was already dark and my mom asked me to go to the garage and change the load of laundry before I went to bed. As I walked to the garage I remember stopping and seeing my dogs eyes light up in the dark and looking at me from the backyard, she then stared off against the back fence. I walked into the garage and changed the load but as I came out of the garage I noticed that my dog was still staring at the back fence, that's when I noticed a blue haze kind of color moving along the back yard staring at me. My dog began barking furiously and I felt my skin get chills all over and ran into the house yelling for my parents who turned on the lights in the house and got flash lights but found nothing.

Looking back I think possibly it could of been a possom or something like that but it still scared the hell out me. I'll post some more that I remember when I can. Tell me things that happened to you in the comments!
