Steemit Inc. and Misterdelegation - Delegatee Ranking

in #delegation7 years ago (edited)

@misterdelegtion is an official Steemit account.  Currently it delegates to projects being developed on the STEEM Blockchain.

The account currently owns 16,612,188.02 SP and delegates out 10,956,093.39

Last month I prepared a report which included an SP ratios score and a delegate ranking score to show how effective these delegates use their SP.  If you missed that report you can check it out here

https://steemit.com/steemit/@paulag/steemit-inc-and-misterdelegation-distributing-power-and-delegatee-ranking

The table below shows the accounts on Steemit currently in receipt of delegation.  There is one account missing from last month, can you spot it?  Any idea why the delegation was removed?

Today’s report is based on data for the month of March.  I have taken the data directly from SteemSQL and used Power BI to carry out various calculations and prepare visualisations.

High level Overview

Detailed Analysis

In the month of March @esteemapp has voted the most with 37824 votes, that’s 47.68% of all the votes given out by these accounts, however the average vote weight is only .18%.  This equates to 1.87% of the payout value on all votes given by these accounts collectively.  Of the power delegated by misterdelegation only 4.58% of this is with @esteemapp

Here are some of the authors rewarded by @esteemapp sorted by the total vote value received (vote worth).

@mac-bot is a flagging account.  In March it flagged 13964 accounts and returned $943 SBD to the rewards pool.  Here are some of the accounts flagged by @mac-bot in the month of March sorted by the number of flags given.

@dlive has the largest portion of the delegated power holding 19%.  This 19% has been used to give rewards of over $120K SBD, that’s 7% of rewards given by all of these apps.  5581 posts have been rewarded for 1055 (9.3%) authors

Here are some of the authors rewarded by @dlive sorted by the total vote value received (vote worth)

@spaminator helps keep steemit clean and downvotes spam.  With 9.2% of the delegated Power they have down voted 318 authors with 5389 flags returning $39,138K to the rewards pool.

@utopian-io has 9.3% of the delegated power and have given out 6.4% of the votes to 8.62% of the authors reached.  The average voting weight used is 4.66% and utopian have handed out 44.5K SBD in rewards.  That’s 13.5% of the total rewards given out by these accounts.

@steemcleaners with 14% of the delegated power as flagged 3053 accounts and returned $34.2K SBD to the rewards pool.

@dsound has 9% of the delegation and has cast 2.9% of the votes for 2.1% of the authors.  The average voting weight used was 12%

@sndbox also holds 4.7% of the delegated power but has given out over 10.5% of the rewards to 5% of the authors.

@dtube has voted 2199 times (32%) for 5.19% of the authors.  Holding 18.3% of the power they have given rewards of $106kK SBD (32% of rewards)

@busy.pay also hold 4.6% of the delegated power and has given out 5.36% of the rewards to 1.24% of the authors with a total of 1084 votes at an average 17.65% weight.

@dmania holds 4.6% of the delegated power and has vote on 1.79% of the authors reached giving out 6.89% of the rewards

@trendings-grace and @binance-hot have not used their power for votes yet.

SP Ratio Score

With all of this data is it hard to establish which account is most effective with their delegated SP.  So I have used this data to devise a scoring system.

The table below shows the % each accounts contributed to the group overall in terms of % SP they received by delegation, % rewards $, % of votes and % of authors reached.

From here (highlighted in pink) I have calculated some ratios against the % SP.  Each of these ratios have been added together to provide a score from which I can rank the delegates.  This is the SP ratio score.

Congratulations to @mack-bot. Holding only .09% of the delegated power and having carried out 17.6% of the total number of votes (flags in this case) the %vote/%SP ratio is 233.74:1

In second place is @esteemapp scoring particularly well with the %author/%SP ratio and rather well in % votes to % SP ratio.  However they did preform lower than the rest in terms of the % rewards to % SP.

To the delegates – congratulation on the delegation and I hope that your app helps take STEEM to the moon.  You can check back here monthly to keep an eye on your stats and score

I love @dlive, but I have never been happy how much they use Steemit Inc stake to self-vote.

The top 10 users are on the dlive team.

I love dlive too, and I was not aware the top 10 are on the dlive team

This report was really interesting. I like seeing the different approaches the various apps are taking with voting and distributing Steem.

I also think that this is a good use to SteemIt, Inc's steem power, to help grow the value of the blockchain by supporting the applications that are being built on it.

hay @whatsup how are you. Different approaches by each giving different results. I think steemit inc are giving this support because of the upcoming SMT's

I 'think' zapple lost its Delegation because of mishandling of keys?

really, I didnt know this. Very disappointing. And looking at the report last month there were preforming well.

I am not completely sure but I remember hearing something about that. Considering what some of the others have done though, I am not sure it warranted a dele cut.

I did ask in the zappl discord channel, but no one answered. Pity really

Amazing ..!!
let me resteem your post :)

Awesome reports :-)

There is a typo in one of spaminator reports. I think it should be $39.138 K instead $39,138 :D
I first thought it was only $38 :)

thanks for the heads up, have fixed the error :-)

It's a bit of a waste if they are delegating to accounts that don't vote. Others could make better use of it. The more people we have voting, the better the distribution of rewards.

Thanks for the breakdown

I could be wrong but @binance-hot is an exchange, so maybe this was to try encourage their growth . Not sure about @trending-grace

So why would an exchange need delegation? It's only really useful for voting that I can see. I've delegated to others I trust to use it well, but that's a drop in the ocean.

maybe for bandwidth issues if they were making transfers, to be honest I have no idea

I dont that means. But, im happy with busy.org, esteem, steemnow and stemd to playing steemit.

A very good notification for us all over steemian, and all data is perfect for now, thanks @paulag

Hi, I just followed you :-)
Follow back @romyjaykar thanks you much.!

Nice pos,,, upvoted
