Evolution of DeepOnion
Where do I begin? There is so much that I want say about DeepOnion. Have you heard about DeepOnion? If not, just continue reading this article to find out about the de facto anonymous crypto king of the future.
DeepOnion is an anonymous cryptocurrency that was designed to primarily combat the anonymity problem with bitcoin. Everyone knows that bitcoin has a huge flaw which is that the bitcoin transactions are not completely anonymous(the transactions can be traced back in some form to the original owner). Many anonymous crypto coins emerged in the crypto world to combat this particular problem like:
-Monero
-Dash
-Verge
-Spectre
-DeepOnion etc
Among these coins, monero and dash have become huge hits and have huge market capitilizations and are being widely used these days among users around the world while Verge, DeepOnion etc have also succeeded to a smaller degree. Among all these coins, DeepOnion has the potential to become the de facto anonymous crypto coin in the near future due to a multitude of reasons:
-Amazing Community
-Usage of TOR browser without depending on mixing mechanisms to mask transactions
-Experienced and dedicated developer team
-Features being added on a regular basis like DeepVault, DeepSend, VoteCentral, SmartContracts etc
-Decentralized currency being airdropped to people around the world
-Excellent Marketing Campaigns
Initially, DeepOnion airdropped a fixed number of onions to users based on their bitcointalk ranking which was clearly a big success. This coin was the talk of the town(Positive and Negative) and people took notice of this new kid on the block. I found out about this airdrop through their bitcointalk thread and immediately applied to the airdrop. There were a multitude of scammers who tried to game the airdrop through multiple bitcointalk accounts which is why the rules were changed from the 16th airdrop onwards.
The new rules(from the 16th airdrop) awarded onions based on the number of onions in the deeponion wallet which completely eliminated the bitcointalk scammers and was a great change. Along with this change, several other changes like deeppoints airdrop were introduced which led to a huge transformation of the DeepOnion forum overnight. The forum was bustling with activity like never before and I was having the time of my life earning money by posting and chatting with other members.
As the numbers grew, Deep Domination Tasks were introduced which were meant to market DeepOnion by utilizing the community power to get the word out there. This was another successful idea, but it also led to a huge amount of spamming which began affecting DeepOnion negatively since many members were simply spamming everywhere in order to earn some quick bucks and were not focusing on quality. This led to the removal of Deeppoints airdrop completely and marketing is now being done by a select few members who are capable of marketing DeepOnion in a constructive manner who are called the VIP Dominators.
The newbies have not been left in the cold. They have to put in more effort than before and can earn onions every week through bounties(articles, videos etc), giveaways, contests etc. They can continue doing domination tasks(as long as they do quality work) and may be eligible for VIP domination tasks in the future.
All these changes have proven to be productive for the community on the whole. The rise in value of an onion from 0.5$ to $8 currently validates my statement and this is just the beginning for this amazing project. I am honored to be a part of this amazing ride and I suggest checking out the DeepOnion forum(https://deeponion.org/community/) as soon as possible.
Great article. I agree that DeepOnion will be successful in competing with the other privacy/anonymous coins you mentioned. DeepOnion is still being distributed thru airdrops. They keep changing the rules so more can join in. Can't pass this up as DeepOnion's price keeps increasing.
2018 will be the year of privacy coins, sack a lot of them specially lower marketcaps like DeepOnion :)
Very nice article. This is just the beginning of the DeepOnion, I'm really curious how far will we get this year.
Keep on evolution!
Great article loved it! :)
