I despise "in your face' pop up ads. The vile creatures that have programmed them put the nasty things on a timer now..JUST as you are finishing an article it "pops up" and harshes your mellow. Even worse are the ones at the start of an article. YOu have to go around them first.
Any time I encounter a pop up...I put that site on my blacklist.
Of COURSE I use AdBlock.

If I get linked to other articles that bug me with ads, I'm outta there right away! Good thing to block those ads!
That is one of the very positive features of Steemit, I think. That should stay that way.
