Many moons ago, I bought Halo: Combat Evolved for PC. It had online multiplayer, new maps, and new weapons that were all unavailable on the X-Box at the time, so it was kind of a big deal.

One evening when I was unwinding from work by playing Halo, I found I was playing against someone who had a microphone, and he with a very distinctive voice. This guy sounded exactly like Ray Romano, whose show Everybody Loves Raymond was probably still on the air at the time.

I never watched the show much, but trust me, if you haven't heard him before, his voice is somewhat distinctive. Here's a clip from one of his stand-up comedy routines for reference. At any rate, I'm fairly sure it wasn't really a stand-up comedian and sitcom star on the other end of teh interwebz, but you never know...

So I shot him extra just in case!

But seriously, whoever it was, they were a decent opponent or teammate for the various rounds in the game that night.
