I find the thought of moving to Arizona tempting for the sole reason that most of the state ignores the DST insanity. Two jokes on the subject:
The Doctor advises against tampering with time unless you're a professional.
An old indian once said, "only a white man would think you can lengthen a blanket by cutting a foot from one end and then stitching it to the other."
Yeah, I think the "old Indian" joke is right on the mark.
And, if "they" (or The Doctor) actually tampered with time, I wouldn't care (or notice). But time doesn't change; the clocks are just mis-set. Now solar noon won't arrive until 2:01 PM at my house tomorrow. It's already bad enough around here. It just gets made worse for most of the year. That's just ridiculous.
