My application for the translator position - Davinci & Utopian (Hebrew Team)

Hi everybody,
This post is an exhibit of my job application for the devinchiproject
(An open source translation project in cooperation with the steem blockchain), for the purpose of receiving an approval as a member in the LM|T

My name is Ilijana, i was born in london. Along with preschool edjucation and my english fluent surroundings,
I was introduced at an early age to a variety of music , learning history of music and theory from the age of 6. Me and my close family arrived to israel around 2005, and after having finished my studies, i now plan on persuing a degree in music and production at the berkly school of arts.

Furthermore, Iv majored in literature and philosophy in both hebrew and english. Also for a while i helped translate many historical subjects and articles in the haifa university, and on top of that ,i freelance online, thus giving me the ubility to offer many proffesional translating services, alongside my natural linguistic skills, to the premesis.
Despite work, i really enjoy reading and composing, as well as anlyzing a wide range of subjects, which maximizes my translation abillities and my undertanding of the presented works.

Translating has always been a necessary skill of mine, since being a part of the jewish community at a younger age, which required full understanding of the language. My extended knowledge and experience brings me to believe i will have a huge impact on the quality of work, on myself or other’s, in order to do so I am willing to dedicate my time and expertise to showcase a better variety of content, and participate in some translation projects which might need a keen mind that is able to deal with the translator’s ideals, and the personality of the author.

Iv had the chance to be a part of many translation projects , most online and others as part of universal studies, I have also created an active account on Steemit which allows access for a speculation on my works.
Having the accont, i really think that we have a significant team on Steemit that can provide excellent and substantial content, that can help to promote the open source Philosophy and the Hebrew Language all at once.

Therefore, I really hope I will be given a chance to make a difference and that i could be a part of this community.

בפוסט הזה אני אציג בפניכם את בקשת העבודה שלי לפרויקט דה וינצ'י ( פרויקט תרגום בעל קוד פתוח , בשיתוף פעולה עם סטימאיט), במטרה של קבלת אישור כחברה בLM|T.

שמי איליאנה, ונולדתי בלונדון, בריטניה.
יחד עם החינוך הבית ספרי והסביבה האנגלית השוטפת, הוצגתי בגיל מוקדם לעולם מגוון של מוזיקה, כמו כן לימוד היסטורי ותאורתי מגיל 6.
אני ומשפחתי המצומצמת עלינו לארץ בסביבות 2005, וכעת שסיימתי את לימודיי , אני מתכננת להוציא תואר במוזיקה והפקה , במכון לאומנויות ברקלי.

יתר על כן, הרחבתי ספרות ופילוסופיה , בשני השפות , אנגלית ועברית. בנוסף, עזרתי לתרגם במשך זמן ממושך נושאים היסטוריים ומאמרים באוניבסיטת חיפה. כמו כן, אני מתעסקת בפרילנס מקוון, כך שיש בי את האפשרות להציע שירותי תרגום מקצועיים יחד עם היכולות שפה הטבעיות שלי, לפרויקט.
חוץ מלעבוד, אני נורא נהנית לקרוא ולהלחין, כך גם לנתח מגוון רחב של יצירות, מה שממקסם את יכולות התרגום שלי, והבנת הנקרא.

תרגום תמיד היה יכולת המוטבעת בתוכי, מגיל צעיר בו הייתי משויכת לקהילה היהודית , מה שדרש הבנה מוחלטת של השפה, ועד היום כשאני אני מדברת ומתרגמת למען סיבות שונות.
הידע והניסיון הרחב שלי, מביא אותי להאמין שיש ביכולתי להשפיע לטובה על איכות העבודות שלי ושל אחרים, ובכדי להגיע למצב כזה אני מוכנה להקדיש מזמני וכישורי השפה שלי כדאי להציג מגוון יותר מושקע של תוכן, מה שדורש חשיבה נלהבת, שמסוגלת להתמודד עם האופי והאידיאלים של הסופר.

היה לי ההזדמנות להשתתף בכמה וכמה פרויקטים של תרגום, רובם מקוונים ואחרים כחלק מהלמידה באוניברסיטה. בנוסף יצרתי חשבון סטימאיט פעיל שמותיר לי ולאחרים את האופציה לשקול את עבודותיי. לאחר פתיחת החשבון, אני לחלוטין מאמינה שיש לנו קבוצה משמעותית בסטימאיט, שבקלות יכולה לספק תוכן מהותי . כמובן שכל הנ"ל בעצם מקדם את הפרויקט, ואת השפה העברית , יחדיו.

לסיכום, אני נורא מקווה שאנתן הזדמנות לחולל שינוי , ושאוכל להתחיל לקחת חלק בקהילה זו.
