The Daughter - Our drive past the cemetary
Again the things your children can come out with are just priceless.
We were driving early one morning to visit friends on the north-side of our city. As we approached the large cemetery my daughter looks out the window and takes a deep breath and says -
"you never see anyone in there"
I asked "you mean the cemetery?"
and she replies "yeah"
without a thought my reply to her was "Maybe that's because they are all dead!"
It took her a few minutes to process then she said with a silly look on her face "oh yeah.."
