I've gotta imagine that there were some face-palm moments on the prosecution side while their own witnesses were testifying -- just like the Rittenhouse trial.

Again, Penny should be praised as a hero. He shouldn't be on trial with a large portion of his life hanging in the balance.

Still, I don't know if the Washington Post is simply being too kind to Alvin Bragg, or if they're being tongue-in-cheek in regard to being baffled by why Bragg decided to pursue the charges. We all know why Bragg did it.
