Wellcome back to my blog and in this precious chance i would like to share to you about one of the best dance in the world.

Well, the dance that i mean is SAMAN.

What is SAMAN?
-> SAMAN is one of traditional dance coming from Aceh (Indonesia). It's one of the most popular dance in Indonesia and i believe that every people in Indonesia knew that.

Where the dance was introduced?
-> The dance was introduced for the first time in GAYO HIGHLAND, the only one highland in Aceh (Indonesia). In fact, this dance is originally coming from gayo ethnic and it was brought by SYEKH SAMAN, one of ulama in gayo

What does this dance have been registered in the UNESCO?
-> yes, this dance have been registered in the UNESCO on november 24th 2011.

When this dance is usually featured?
-> this dance is usually featured in the big event, celebrating the birthday of prophet Muhammad saw, and many other that impossible to say

What is the other name of SAMAN?
-> the other name of saman is THE DANCE OF A THOUSAND HANDS
