The Fallacy of Perfect Cybersecurity

Perfect cybersecurity is not being impervious to attack! Rather, it is the optimal balance between the costs, friction it introduces, and the acceptable residual risks. If we accept unreasonable goals, we will be setup to fail. Let’s contribute to the organization’s objectives in rational ways and with realistic discussions around risks, investment, opportunities, and value.
