My Logo Design for Curie project logo design contest. Made this logo design using Inkscape.

This is my first time taking part in a graphic designing contest. I take interest in these kind of contests because it allows to express yourself how you think about a certain thing. I am not a professional graphic designer. I tried my best and I came up with this idea. Here is the logo that I designed for #curielogo design contest.

A little info about the elements of the logo :

The letter 'C' obviously represents the Curie project. I used positive sign (+) because its the symbol of positivity. It also represents getting benefit,gaining and getting something good etc. And one of the most important goal of Curie is that it helps users that post quality content but still did not get recognised or not noticed yet. So this point gave me a solid reason to make positive sign a part of the logo.

Now, the reason why I made the three sea life creatures part of the logo, its because I learned about Curie project that it is not just limited to minnows. Dolphins and whales can also take part in curie. And they can also get benefit by being part of the curie project.

As we all know in Steemit users are divided into three categories,

1. Minnows.
2. Dolphins.
3. Whales.

So the orange one represents minnows, the light blue one represents dolphins and the dark blue one represents whales.

Why cyan color for the border of the logo and "+" sign?

The reason is simple, this color is a bit close (if not the same) to the Steemit logo color and it also resembles to the color of the ocean. As I used sealife creatures in the logo so it was necessary for sign of water to be there too. That's why I used cyan color for it.

These were all the reasons behind every element, I used for the logo. Hope you like it.
