RE: DUBAI - Heaven in hell?

in #curie6 years ago

What a detailed post! Dubai doesn't fit at all in the surroundings but it somehow attracts so many people.

I'm sure that without this air-conditioning people would be boiling. My colleague from Dubai was telling me that he went for a swim in the sea and he was feeling that he was sweating while swimming. The sea was so hot. Not sure, if it's true story but that's what he said :)

I can't wait for that new building to be open. What a monster it will be!

I think that Dubai is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. But it has up and downs too. The salaries are unfairly split within the companies. The workers are still happy to work as they are able to support their families in Philippines or other poor country, but in fact, what they make is just a little bit..

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your post :)

Regarding water is true! It is warmer than in a bathtub: D Therefore, most people move away from the shore - there the water is the warmest.

Unfortunately, wage disproportions are everywhere... Especially in construction, where you build a lot and quickly.

Thanks for comment! ;)
