Steem Atlas : Community Curator Application for April 2025
The Steem Atlas team are happy to see that applications for April's Community Curators are again being invited from developers of games and apps.
Having the use of the SC03 account during March has given a significant boost to the growth of Steem Atlas.
It has meant we have been able to give useful rewards for many good quality posts.
We are delighted therefore to be making another application for a Community Curator account for April.
Steem Atlas : Progress during March
Steem Atlas is a map based interface to the Steem blockchain developed by the @pennsif.witness team (@pennsif, @rexthetech, @freelance.monkey).
The site has seen significant progress during March both in terms of technological development and usage.
Steem Atlas is now seeing around 40 posts being added each day from well over 100 different authors. There has been very healthy growth in usage over the past month.
On the technological side Steem Atlas has seen the addition of enhanced searching by user, by tag and by location.
The other major advance has been the introduction of the Leaderboard showing the Top 100 posters on the site.
There has also been continual work going on to optimise the performance of the site, particularly for mobile users. There is still more to be done on this front.
The introduction of the Leaderboard has facilitated the launch of the Atlas Challenge with a prize pool of 1000 STEEM every month...
The latest winners have just been announced today (21 March)...
There has also been a focus on growing the community account @steem-atlas through beneficiaries and delegations.
It has now reached a total of 30,000 SP which is a good foundation for building a sustainable business model for the site.
The six Atlas Ambassadors already in place have been providing an excellent service in promoting Steem Atlas and helping people use it effectively.
We have now started another round of recruitment to add more Ambassadors to the team, particularly where there is no representation at present...
How a Community Curation Account would help grow Steem Atlas
Having access to a Community Curation Account for a third month would be a major help in continuing to grow the site.
We have many plans for the coming month that will certainly attract many new users. Having the Community Curator account will provide the curation power to support newcomers and regular users alike.
Our target is for growth of at least 30% during the coming month.
A Community Curation Account will very definitely make that target achievable.
The Future of Steem Atlas
Steem Atlas is rapidly establishing itself as one of the key apps on the Steem blockchain.
The site demonstrates how Steem is an ideal platform for crowdsourced user generated content.
We very much see Steem Atlas as an outward looking project.
It has great potential to attract people to join Steem.
People cannot resist a zoomable map with pins - they will always zoom in to explore places they know 😀

This is really a great achievement that in a few weeks the community account has attracted delegators and has accumulated beneficiaries to collect 30k Steem power.
I hope Steem Atlas will get support again from the Steemit team because of the great work is continuously going on with Steem Atlas while bringing new quality content on the platform.
I published my posts and I searched the same place and I saw good results that Steemit page was at the top means we are getting visitors to Steemit via Steem Atlas.
My this post appears on the first page within the top 3. So it has become a good source to provide information about the world wide places through Steemit.

As a team of community curators, Steem Atlas is doing amazing work. This has aroused more curiosity in the minds of steemians. I would be happy to see this team again to further expand the Steem Atlas project and attract more steemians.
