Weekly Technology Curation & SDB Giveaway #011

Here are five of my favorite technology posts from the past week. All upvotes from the @msp-curation account went out on Wednesday. Please take the time to visit the content listed. While they are not required to be minnows, my goal is to focus on such members when possible.

Let's share some nerd-love to our fellow tech & science Steemians!

1. PlayStation 2 Games You MUST PLAY Before You DIE! by @techmojo
   PlayStation 2 is a classic in the gaming console world, and in this post, TechMojo gives us his top five games that we all need to play before we die.

2. Centralization and Decentralization - Bridging the Gap by @worldclassplayer
   If you know me you know, I love decentralization which is why I started my Steem Witness and planned to start up a full node when I can afford to do so. But, there are gray areas and middle ground between the fantastic life of decentralization and traditional centralization.

3. Understanding the operating system on the computer by @farabi
   Every computer has an operating system, but many people have no idea what it is or what it does. Check out Farabi's post all about them to learn more an up your nerd game. (ps: Linux is the best)

4. How medical equipment looked 100 years ago? A life inside iron lungs by @tammizzle
   My favorite stuff is technology, my second favorite stuff is old and historical, mix the two, and you hooked me. It's always fascinating to see big and old technology from many different industries. Check out this post for some old medical contraption that looks a bit terrifying.

5. Artificial intelligence is also prone to discrimination by @keysa
   With all the political correctness around these days, we are often careful about what we say and how we say it. But what about AI? Turns out that AI may be just as discriminatory as your average human being.
