The Most EPIC Movie Chase Scene List Ever - My Favorite 30! Part 2 of 2 (15-1)
Our first featured post is guaranteed to get your heart pumping as you watch this collection of the most EPIC movie chase scenes ever! It isn't every day you see a post of the "Top X BLANK" variety receive a Curie upvote, but in this case @randomwanderings even managed to land the coveted Curie resteem as well. This is a carefully selected collection of movie chase scenes with hilarious original writeups. Before you watch the final 15 selections, check out part 1 with selections 30-16 first:
- The Most EPIC Movie Chase Scene List Ever - My Favorite 30! Part 1 of 2
- The Most EPIC Movie Chase Scene List Ever - My Favorite 30! Part 2 of 2
@randomwanderings, |
Please keep in mind that I am not saying this is the be-all, end-all best 30 movie chase scenes in this particular order and anything you say that is different is wrong. These are MY favorite, most EPIC-est (yes I know that isn't a word, but I will be overusing the word EPIC, and doing so on purpose) 30 movie chase scenes. |
Reading @randomwanderings posting you can tell that this is a man who loves movies. Sure, many people like movies. Not everyone has written books of movie trivia, or sells merchandise signed by the cast of horror movies. This is just scratching the tip of the iceberg; read Gene's introduction post for the full story.

Woman | Original Spoken Word & First DSound Work
This is a powerful poem and a mesmerizing spoken word performance. You need to listen to this to get the full impact:

@betterbeing |
Womanhood is empowering, but is a constant journey of self-discovery and learning to oppose strict social ideas of how women should look and behave. [...] Growing up as a tomboy, this journey took on a special shape. I hope this poem gives you insight into my story and also empowers you to stand firm in who you are as a woman. |
@betterbeing was raised in New York City but relocated to East Tennessee, USA with her wife @introspector two and a half years ago. Small Town America has given her the slower pace needed to reflect and plan to overhaul and redirect her career and passions.
She spent her adolescence and early adulthood studying the Christian faith and holds BA/MA degrees in Biblical Studies. While her faith journey has shifted significantly in the latter few years, she continues to pursue interest in the intersectionality of faith and sexuality. She is an avid traveler and has studied abroad in Israel, Jordan, England and Italy to name a few favorites. Her focus on Steemit is growing the presence of the LGBTQ+ community and curating quality content from this sector. She hopes to continue contributing content that is vulnerable and raw, so that others gain the courage to do the same.
@betterbeing's five year plan is to transition from working behind a desk in a cubicle to finding a more creative, personable means to earning a living. She is hopeful that connecting with the Steemit community will allow this dream to come to fruition.

The Observers - Curiousity in Action

What lies beyond this fence? Join @best.day.ever as he documents passers-by answering this question for themselves in this interesting example of urban photojournalism. As you watch person after person stop to take a look, you will soon be dying to know yourself. The good news is that @best.day.ever does take us beyond the fence as well, but I won't ruin the surprise here.

For me the day when I shoot these pictures was special. I felt like I learned something new about people around me. I learned that people gotta know "what's going on there" behind the curtain and they will have a peek! |
I see myself as a witness and a part of my picture; it's funny how much you can remember about one picture when you see it after years. I always loved that about photos and every other tool that can bring back my memories. - @best.day.ever

Athibar - A Space Fantasy

Two young adventurers discover a mysterious machine buried deep in the forest, and before they know it, they've blasted off to an unknown destination!
This is a lovely short film. The cuteness of the voice acting is matched by the beautiful cinematography, and that is no small feat. Give it a watch: https://steemit.com/steemfilm/@stephie.spicer/athibar-a-space-fantasy
@stephie.spicer (director) and Peter Laqua (director of photography) create films as Awesome Pictures. Check out the Athibar announcement post to hear Stephie and Peter talk about the film. |
You will want to watch this adorable Athabar fan video as well, made by the voice actors (@stephie.spicer's nephew and niece).

What is Monster Hunter?
Monster Hunter World - © CAPCOM
If you're a fan of rewarding, challenging albeit fair gameplay with near-infinite replayability and breath-taking scenery, then the world of Monster Hunter is for you. But if you're anxious about cannonballing into a potentially thousand-hour gaming journey, this will be your guide to dipping your toes into the MH whirlpool.
https://steemit.com/monsterhunter/@jamthewriter/what-is-monster-hunter
@jamthewriter has put together a really terrific introduction to Monster Hunter World, covering the history of the Monster Hunter franchise and the basics of gameplay in an engaging, conversational tone. One big difference between Monster Hunter and other action RPGs is the lack of a skill system. The focus is rather on the weapons available to the monster hunter; each weapon comes with its own moves and specializations. The weapons of the game are covered in more detail in two recent posts - check them out here (melee) and here (ranged).

Thank you for your great support. Wish that more author can be featured here.
I just spent some time reading through @curie's earlier posts and really like the idea of trying to promote up and coming authors. As such new author myself who wants to publish solid content, seeing others finding ways to honor those new authors is just an awesome reflection of what this community could ultimately be about.
