Our culture and Festivals

Our country Nepal is a country of different races and languages. Several cultures celebrate here. The different cast has their own culture and festival there is Rajbansi community. They celebrate Sirius Parva. which is observed on the 1st of Baisakh every year. In this festival, People splash water, abir, and colour on each other. They invite their relatives to their home and offer a variety of good food according to their capability. This festival is very important to develop social hormony and cooperation in our community. Another is Bhatta community, They celebrate Gaura Parva which is observed there with joy. People sing deuda song and perform Deuda dance making a circle holding each other's hand. They do various Puja and eat delicious foods.

Another Important community is Hindu religion. They celebrate Father's day and Mother's day. Father's day is observed in the month of Bhadra and Mother's Day in the month of Baisakh. These festivals are celebrated throughout the country. They offer delicious foods and various gifts to their parents during these festivals.

Like these festivals are celebrated in different parts of our country. Now about the Ritual performed in our house are:
A great ritual is a Bratabandha is one of the important rituals performed by the followers of Hindu's marriage. they shave their hair. Pandit baje conducts different puja by chanting they invite their relatives and neighbours, offer various delicious foods. and The guest brings gifts to the boy.

Another community is a Tharu community, they celebrate Maghi. They observe it as our New year day. They, eat various dishes such as pigeon's meat, rat pickle, fish, teel ko laddu, pork curry and a variety of bread like Bagiya, Dhikri and Jarra Roti. Typical tharu dances like Sakhiya, Ghumra, Jhumra, Jarra and Lathwa are performed on the occasion.
