On 'White Privilege'

in #culture6 years ago (edited)

'White privilege' is a racist term. It's something derogatory to say to someone of fair skin tone, based only on their skin tone, and nothing to do with that person as a subject. Where social justice warriors often go wrong is when they over-generalize and say: "Europeans oppress people" when they should say: "the House of Windsor and other elitist types, (like the owners of the fed) oppress people." To cast blame on an entire nation of people is ignorant. To judge someone based on their skin tone is ignorant. Ignorance isn't going to help the oppressed. Baseless accusations like 'white privilege' and 'white supremacist' do not help the oppressed. What will help the oppressed, is more people understanding global economic mechanisms. For once the flow of information becomes decentralized, power will follow.20180722_194953.jpg
