I used to have a 6600GT, played so much Counter Strike Source on that thing!

It had no chance playing Crysis. I had a 8800 Ultra when Crysis came out, but I was so busy playing other games.

1GB of RAM feels painful in retrospect. Knowing Vista was around in an unpatched, broken state at that time makes that feel even more painful (as you needed Vista for the higher DX version support).

PC gaming is great! :D

all you needed was to change a few lines of code in the custom settings .ini files to activate those very high "fake dx10" settings on dx9 and winXP.
