The price of Ethereum v Bitcoin is quite irrelevant.
For investors, just look at how your investment is doing, not whether the price of one Ether is more than the price of one Bitcoin.
As far as uses, Ethereum is a lot more than a medium of exchange. With its ability to run smart contracts, it has an intrinsic value of the kind Bitcoin does not have.
