Nouriel:

"CryptoKitties - A Decentralized App Success Story?
Apart from being a dumb game CryptoKitties has low and falling transactions. Compared to any good video game it has transaction volume that is 0.001% than any game. So dumb and failing. And that is the best success story that cryptozealots can cite for a decentralized app. With success like this… – 13 May 2018

And who’s only value to players was literally a tulip mania, just replacing rare and unique bulbs with rare and unique cats.

The cryptocurrency community is intent on speed running 500 years of economic disasters."

Nouriel Roubini shared his opinion from a very limited scope. He hasn't invested enough ETH or time in figuring out cryptokitties works. It is the beginning of the end, for centralized gaming (which is like 98% of all gaming). Cryptokitties is the poster child for a new type of business model, in which players actually retain "digital ownership", as opposed to having "physical" goods with a "arbitrary value", that require 3rd party vendors (middle men), ebay, paypal, packing material, ups/usps, gas consumption, human hours squandered. etc. In CK you can even do OTC trades, if you trust said party, although 3% listing fee imo is negligible, and I have no problem paying.

The world is still sleeping on CK, they are barely waking up to bitcoin.

There isn't enough supply of Gen 0 cats for everyone. That's a fact. History is being made here, and some people are too pompous to see it. They come over the top, with negative attitudes and single-sided comments. We are living on the edge of history right now, and there's 6 more month's left before even the baby is born. So yeah, I think there's a lot of ignorant FUD out there. Maybe a lot of people with a budget that can't afford to play? That's always a possibility. Broke like a joke, and hating on something you can't be a part of, because of the "Crypto-gap".
