Jan 5th, 2018 - New CryptoKitties toy, Augmentors Community Update, and MORE!

Hello crypto game fans! I’m Ciel and I’m bringing you your crypto gaming news updates this Friday evening!

Don’t forget I’m running a game jam over on my personal steemit! Build a game that incorporates crypto or blockchain in some way and submit it to me before January 20th! You could win some Steem, Smartcash, a CryptoKittie, and more! Don’t worry. 15 days is plenty of time to make something! I’ll work on some tutorials to start giving folks some ideas.

I’ve recently been hired as lead unicorn/project manager for an alternate reality game that is going to take place this spring to summer. Follow @slothicorn and join the discord to get involved.

I contributed some Battle Stats Intros and other texts to Steempunk.Net through @utopian-io, a steem-based application that rewards open-source contributions. You can contribute to the game as well through testing out the beta and making yourself known on the discord.

Decentraland also has a project update for us. While the LAND auction has ended, there’s going to be lots of development moving forward on the districts. A few even have twitters, like the Aetheria Project and Chobury . In preparation for this development, LAND owners and freelance 3d designers and modelers should start reaching out on websites like ethlance, where the Decentraland team themselves have posted bounties of MANA.

SpacePirate Games has given us another sneak preview image of the forthcoming Age of Rust.

Chimaera is gearing up for its token sale and has posted a new translation of their whitepaper.

The makers of KittyExplorer.com have released a new 3rd party tool for CryptoKittyies called KittyHats! The browser extension lets you purchase items that let you dress up your kitty. In celebration, they are holding a Fashion Contest.

As more and more games come out, smart contract creation and execution will become more and more seamless. BlockCat is a service that lets anyone create, manage, and deploy smart contracts on the ethereum blockchain and they have posted a new community update.
