I took a couple of days off for the weekend and was hoping I’d be able to write something positive but that’s not the case. More losses for all cryptocurrencies. When is this going to end?
All I know is that I’m staying put for now until the dust settles. Here are some recent events that are impacting the price of coins. While China’s recent actions have certainly taken a toll on prices, not all news was bad.

Chinese government has banned online access to the cryptocurrency markets by eliminating cryptocurrency trading services or advertising services from search engines and social media.
CFTC Chairman Shows Support for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain

CFTC Chairman Christopher Giancarlo’s testimony presented to the Senate Banking Committee was mostly positive, suggesting a suggested a "do no harm" registration process of distributed ledger and cryptocurrency companies and startups.
Singapore’s Central Bank

Singapore has been studying the risks of cryptocurrencies and Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said that so far, they see no reason to ban it.
