We enjoy our own version of crypto-monopoly

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Hi all!
Few weeks ago we decided to create something simple and fun and used the familiar formula of monopoly as our guide. When designing our version of crypto-monopoly, we were inspired by our desire to create a space where we could interact with each other and our individual cryptocurrencies.

You can play traditionally or with a variable price - just like in a traditional market, it could be, -50%, + 50%, + 100% or + 150%. The game will count down as you play and each of these values falls to the standard price after 10 minutes.

When a player lands on Field B (the chance card) the game's trajectory can change completely and I feel that this is a really fun and exciting way to engage with the players.

The way you interact with the game is flexible and it can be played with physical or digital money.

To adapt the traditional monopoly formula to our game, we replaced the traditional real estate components with small mining rig models.

We've already received a lot of interest and positive feedback for our game but at the moment it's not enough. If you would like to help us achieve our goal of creating a fun, interactive crypto-monopoly please join our group on Telegram. Hopefully, we will achieve enough interest and soon our game will appear on kickstarter.com, so watch this space and help us create a great new cryptocurrency game!

That is the most epic thing i have seen in a while :)

@wrzosee Very cool, started following you. Love the creativity. I wonder about the mining rigs you might have 3d printed. The one that looks like a big rack could be a GPU mining rig. Is it a specific brand or setup? The smaller one could be an ASIC. Is it an Antminer?

How do these prints relate to hotels and houses in Monopoly. It seems like the GPU mining rigs represents a hotel and the ASICs represent houses. Just guessing here, please enlighten me.

Yeah, exactly you answered yourself, but the problem with these models is that they were too small to 3D print so it isn't high detailed, we gonna go for molding with pressure so it will be better.

Hey looking awesome game!!
I would love to play this. Thanks for sharing!!! :)

haha this is incredible! I can see a ton of effort went into this. Glad to see you join the community here. If you put effort like this into making a board game I bet you will make some good posts too. How did you get this actually on a board? Are there places that will just do that for you?

Thanks! Yeah, I like this community and I'm definitely gonna be more active. I have spent many hours by delivering this project to this stage. I basically designed this project and then printed it in local printing service. There is many people who would like to buy so we're getting ready for mass production. As you can see, the sequence on the board game is not random. We have picked most popular and most futuristic projects in order to deliver long term validity. If I will get any updated it's gonna be posted here.
