Mining Electroneum (ETN) - The Easiest way!

Hi Everyone!

I have been trying to mine Electroneum on my mac for the last couple of days using 'the Mac direct miner instructions' from Here . Which takes a lot of time in sync’ing and I am not sure if it actually works as I had no luck.

Today I started mining Electronum using MinerGate, which is the easiest way to mine Electroneum in my opinion. And I would like to share with you all.

Here are the steps I followed in setting up the miner, if you are interested to mine this coin.

First, you need to have the following in your mac:
1. Download MinerGate from Here
2. Get the offline wallet generator from Here and get your offline wallet, which is pretty straight forward.
3. Choose your pool (us, eu, asia or you can choose from Here )

Now that you have MinerGate installed on your mac, you can setup your miner by following these simple steps:
1 . Open the MinerGate and click on other pools

2 . Enter the display name, pool Url and pool login then click Add pool.

• Display name - Whatever name you want to call your pool.
• Pool URL is your pool address you chose in step 3.
• Pool login is the public address of your offline wallet.
  Now your MinerGate, shows you mining hashrate, which looks like the following screenshot

3 . Run the miner for few hours …

At this point you might wonder how many coins you mined, that is the easiest of all, go to your Electroneum mining pool, for example if you are using the hashusa, you can can go to http://pool.hashusa.win/ and enter your public wallet address and click on Lookup, it shows you how many coin you mined, your hashrate etc.
